Point - Red

Random Build / Grips

This random setup can have two configurations which largely depends on the previous point executed, or the subsequent formation that you will be going to at the end of the block transition. You may set up the random facing either in or out in the compressed piece. It is important to multi task when setting up the top of the block by referencing the Tail (Yellow) flyer in a bi-pole configuration, along with building a wide compressed with the OC (Green) flyer.

Key (Start of Block)

The key at the top of the block is upon agreement with whomever is facing in on both of the cat piece (Rear Piece), and the compressed piece (Front Piece).

Key (Finish of Block)

The key at the finish of the block is upon agreement with whomever is facing in on both of the cat piece (Rear Piece), and the compressed piece (Front Piece).

Block Maneuver

Turn 180 and finish in a symmetrical compressed accordion picture with your piece partner (Green) as you reference the opposite piece. Keep your fall rate up by thinking about arching in the random and throughout the block and anticipate any fall rate changes between the two pieces. The compressed piece has the tendency to float in comparison to the cat piece.

*Pro Tip (1) - Drift may occur between the two pieces when first learning this block. It is important to finish the block maneuver with your piece partner (Green) and then correct for any spacing issues when transitioning to the next formation.
*Pro Tip (2) - If you are starting the block maneuver facing out in the compressed piece, think about pressing back as you initiate your turn in an effort to keep tight to the common center-point of the formation.

Random Build / Grips

1) Good set-up with opposite piece (Cat Piece)
2) Build top of block in a wide compressed accordion.
3) Turn 180 and finish block in a wide compressed
